I just need to get it all out tonight... My FFFC

1. My teeth are literally falling out of my face. I want nothing more than to have each and everyone pulled out. My last dentist told me I have "two good teeth." I currently need two bridges, all crowns replaced, several cavities filled, a few pulled, and like 4 root canals.

 I have severe anxiety about going to the dentist. When I was about 10 my older than dirt dentist filled a cavity with no pain medication, I cried, he called me a baby...

2. Imprefections give me anxiety and panic attacks. Especially scrathes on my car or my cell phone. This happens to the point where I cannot function and it is all I think about. I have to fix the issue and it does not go away until I figure out a way to fix it or get rid of it.

3. I was sexually absued until the age of 12. I have no idea when in started either. I cannot however bring myself to talk about it very much. I just rencently told my mom about it.

4. I used to burn myself with hot bobby pins...that pain is never as bad as emotional pain.

5. I pray to god everyday that Cam is not as screwed up as I am...

I can relate to you on the sexual abused part and I understand how hard it is to open up about it.

Cam will never go through what you did because her upbringing will be far better than how yours was.

Putting it all out there, huh?

1st - I have a fear of dentist too. Teeth gross me out. I think fear of dentist is common

2nd - sounds like control issues which fits in with #3

3rd & 4th - I am so sorry. (((hugs)))

5th - I think Cam is lucky to have a mom who is as strong as you obviously are.

Look into sedation dentistry!  I have a severe phobia of needles, so needless to say, I neglected the dentist really badly.  I got an abscessed tooth that kept me up all night so I decided to give the sedation dentistry a try.  Best decision I've ever made.  Just had to swallow a few pills and they did most of the work right then (I needed my wisdom teeth out, so another place did them).

Good!  It takes a lot to get me to go to the dentist, but my abscessed tooth hurt worse than labor did.  It's really expensive, but so worth it.

I love going to the dentist!!

I especially love when they numb my mouth. I don't know why, I just do.
