Hi Ladies,
I'd like your input. From about 2 weeks old until 11 weeks, my DD only pooped once a day, and it was the typical breastfed poop - mustardy with seed-like bits. Suddenly on Monday (11 weeks old) she is pooping 6+ times during the day and it is green like pesto. No fever or vomiting though. I started her on Pedialyte at the Doc's recommendation on Tuesday (it seemed like diarrhea and I feared dehydration), but no changes. After 2 days on the Pedialyte, I called the doc back to report that it is all the same. She told me to take DD off of the Pedialyte and that this is normal for a breastfed baby, and maybe it was something I ate. Should something I ate show up in her poop for five days straight?!? Do any of your breastfed babies poop this much?
