Yes, there's probably a million of these by now but tough. I want in ![]()
I wish & have thought about doing it (only a little) that while on long car trips (and DH is driving) I could take Nolan out of his carseat when he's fussy, change & feed him without having to stop. I know it's not safe, but good gracious would that save a lot of time!
Also, I wish my IL's wouldn't think it weird for me to BF while at the dinner table (yes, covered up & all). I hate being banished to another room because Nolan wants to eat at the same time as I do. My parents could care less, even in restaurants. I'm so used to doing it at home that unless someone was really paying attention, they would never know what was going on. BAH!
Re: My FFFC
I have taken ds1 (when he was a baby) and ds2 just recently out of his car seat and nursed/changed while dh drove. Hell, we just purchased a van a few days ago, because of this reason. We are going on a 12 hour car drive next week through the night and we are not stopping every single time ds needs to be changed or fed. I don't want to risk waking ds1 every time either. I remember when my brother and I were young, my parents had a station wagon and we would always drive for our vacations. They would lay us down in the back with the luggage around us and that is how we would travel. I don't even think they had car seats back then.
I nurse in public everywhere. Even in restaurants. If my inlaws had a problem with it, then we wouldn't be going over there.
