XP: 12:30 baptism - what would you do afterwards re a party?

DD's baptism is going to be at 12:30 on a Sunday.  We thought that we would have a get together afterwards.  I'm guessing we'll have about 20-25 people invited; I'm not sure that everyone will come but that's an estimate.

My question is, if the party is around 2 or 3 pm would you do a full lunch, just cake, lunch and cake, or appetizers and cake?

how long are your baptisms? (don't know what religion you are). Ours are about 10 minutes *if done outside of mass). I would have the party right after (no gap) and have a lunch.

I think lunch and cake would be fine.  Or if you just want to do cake, just make the invites reflect that.

We normally do a full lunch and desserts, and we aren't even party people.  We have a nice room in the church basement.  Get a sub tray, make some desserts, get a cake and have anyone who asks bring a dish to pass.

Ours is at 1pm and I figure 30 mins tops from church to house so we're having a BBQ at our house afterwards with cake for dessert.

If people are coming straight from the baptism you should feed them real food since it's around lunch time.

Our baptism is at noon.  Were having around 50 people for lunch at a Mexican restaurant immediately afterwards.
