Scarring

I had my 6 week pp appt last week and my doctor said the reason I'm still sore is because I have a scar band. He said it should go away soon on it's own.

Has anyone else had any experience with this?

    With DD I had an episiotomy and it felt like I got sewed up too small and it was painful but it did go away!
