Westminster area Kaiser Moms

Does anyone on here use kaiser? DH and I both have Kaiser and we found out we will be delivering at Good Samaritan in Lafayette. I was wondering if anyone had delivered there and had any stories to share.

    I go to Westminster Kaiser and I delivered my now 3 1/2 year old at Good Sams. 

     

    They were great. Took great care of me and our baby. We did have one bad nurse who would come in and knee (not sure if on purpose or not the lights were off and we were trying to sleep she also was  a little ruff with the baby we weren't comfortable with the way she handled the baby) my husband in the head while he was sleeping so we asked for a different nurse and they gave us one.

     

    It's a great hospital wish we would have delivered our now 8month old there as well.

     

    My sister also delivered her now 4 1/2 year old daughter there and had great care as well.

    My family and I go to the westminster Kaiser. ob and pediatricians are great. I also just delivered my daughter on 4/6/10 @ good sam. It was a good expereince. they did check on me and the baby. Nothing really to complain about other than make sure the nurses dont forget about you and if you plan on ebf then ensure the lactation specialist visits you before you leave. They are great just busy.

    I'm switching insurance in my last trimester to Kaiser. I want to have an OB that is encouraging of natural birth. Any suggestions who I should try to visit?

    I delivered at Good Sams 10.5 months ago and could not rave any more about our experience.  It was fantastic!!  The nurses were friendly and helpful, the doctors were just amazing.  We walked in there with intentions of a natural childbirth that went out the window when I was to be induced.  They really talked every step of the way with us and even talked me out of the c-section I demanded at one point after a long labor.  I'm thankful for all they did for us.

    Dr. McIntyre (I'm unsure about the first name) is at Rock Creek, I believe, and she is absolutely awesome.  If I didn't live 5 minutes from Wheat Ridge office, I would go to her for my next baby.
