Is he sleeping TOO much?

LO sleeps all day unless he is up to eat (every 2-3 hours during the day) and ususally for a little bit early afternoon (for an hour at the most) and then he is up around 7-9/10'ish, but that is it.  Other than that, he is sleeping.  Is that too much or still common for a 2 1/2 month old.

my LO sleeps the majority of the day as well. she wakes to eat about every 3 hours and i try to keep her up as long as possible. playing with her, reading to her, and tummy time. if your LO wants to sleep then i don't think that's a problem. babies need a lot of rest.
