I am dreading... absolutely dreading my LO waking up because I know he's going to want to nurse. My bewbies are sooo sore. I feel like my nipples might just fall off. I feel like such an a$$.
Lansinoh will help. Got some as a shower gift, its amazing.
This. And, I'm sure you've tried everything, but have you worked with a lactation consultant to try to improve the latch? I really hate giving unsolicited advice, but breastfeeding shouldn't hurt, and it breaks my heart when women say that it does!

I know they say breastfeeding shouldn't hurt...but it does. After meeting with a lactation consultant who told me DS had a perfect latch, I resigned to the fact that it's just going to hurt for a little bit. And it did..A LOT for the first few weeks. I used to dread feeding him again. But after the initial few weeks it got MUCH better and now it doesn't hurt at all. Hang in there, mama.

The LC at the hospital told me he had a perfect latch. It really only hurts for the first minute or two, after that it's okay. But that first minute is horrible.
