NBR: hard-boiled eggs

So, to hardboil eggs you're supposed to remove them from the heat as soon as they start to boil.... But DS started crying, so I got distracted. They boiled for about 10 minutes. What now? Are they ruined??

They're fine...I never remove them from the heat.

I usually leave them in for at least 10 mins. after they boil to make sure they are done all the way.  When they are done just right, they peel super easy.
