i'm back (long)

Everything went as well as it could i guess.  the worst part was when they drew blood.  for some reason it hurt sooo bad. i've had blood drawn many times and it's never hurt like this before so they iced it but it still hurts and i can't even straighten it out.

we got to the hospital around noon and got home around 6.  it was a long day and i almost cried a few times but i stayed strong.  i'm waiting for DH to get home w/ DS.  and hopefully i can just relax the rest of the night. 

i'll meet w/ my OB in 2wks and hopefully we'll have some results of the tissue findings.  not sure if they'll know what went wrong or not.  i did ask if they could tell if it would have been a boy or girl but they said probably not b/c there might not be enough of the hormone. 

i'm actually relieved this day is over. i don't think i realized how stressed i was about this pregnancy.  i will definitely be asking if i can get an early u/s next time around b/c i don't think i could go thru the stress of the unknown again.  i'm sure the emotional part of today and everything else will catch up w/ me later but as for now i'm going to try and clear my head and do nothing.

FWIW, when I had the tissue tested with my last D&C, they were able to identify the sex, if that is something you want to know.
