So, after this week's bleeding/spotting scare we got an ultrasound today and it was glorious! We got to see and hear the baby's heartbeat (which was, I must say, the most beautiful sound in the world) and it was going strong at 162 bpm. The ultrasound tech took measurements and said the baby measured exactly 8 weeks (counting from LMP, I should be 9 weeks this weekend, but I ovulated late so...?) so they changed my due date from Dec 31 to Jan 6. I know it's only a few days...I just don't want to wait an extra week! :) I want to hold this baby!

I felt like a goofball for laying on the table crying but it was such a RELIEF!! And a huge blessing.

    Congrats!!!! Same thing happened to me, I thought I was going to be due September 30 but the Ultrasound gave us an EDD of 10/6.
