anyone know of great Splash Pads around the Twin cities area? I know they have them at the MN zoo & in Hyland playarea but I am looking for others around the area.
I know there is one in St. Louis Park near 100 and Louisiana. If you google 'St Louis Park Splash Pad' you should find it. There are a ton of pictures online. It looks like so much fun! Especially for little ones your son's age. My daughter is 16 months and we are excited to try it this summer!
Kelly Park in Apple Valley is the only one we've visited. I heard there is one in Roseville near Snelling and County Rd C that we're going to check out this summer. Many of the Minneapolis city parks have free kiddie pools. We've been to the one at the Wabun Picnic Area at Minnehaha Park.
Elm Creek Park reserve in Maple Grove has a great man made pond with a beach surrounding it that we went to last year - was a lot of fun. Just google Elm Creek Swimming Pond and you should be able to find it.
