Where did you buy your sandbox sand?

They didn't have it at BRU..and our closest TRU is 30 mins away so I'd rather not go that far.

I'm reading reviews about Lowes sand online and I'm seeing it's really dusty and dirt-like?? Anyone know?

I've heard that Home Depot doesn't have the chemical free stuff (they have cancer warning labels on their sand). Anyone know if that's true?

 

PS: XP... and is 24+ the "potty training" only board now or what?? ;)

    Isn't all sand "dirt-like"?  That made me giggle.

    LOL. good point. That's what the review said though! And another one mentioned it was like potting soil dirt mixed in with sand. Not beach-like sand.

    Lowe's sand is TERRIBLE...very dusty and "dirty"  Do you have a meijer?  We got their play sand and it is white and great!!  How about an Aco or hardware store?

    We got our sandbox sand at Lowes.  They had the Quickrete play sand.  It doesn't have a lot of dust and isn't dirty.  It looks like this..

    Thanks everyone! We do have a Meyer very close by so I'll start there and hopefully they'll have some :)
