? about pink eye

At what point do/did you replace your eye makeup? As soon as the symptoms start to go away? I read recently that pink eye can stay contagious for up to 2 weeks!

If I am diagnosed with pink eye, I immediately stop using eye make up, throw it away, what I was using, and wait a good 24 - 48 hours before replacing.

Eyes freak me out, and I don't want to ruin my eye by contaminating it!  LOL
