dizzyness

anyone else getting dizzy spells??

had one last night and have had them a little over the last day or two, sitting here a bit dizzy now.. i was assuming it was my blood sugar since i'm diabetic and focusing on keeping it low which can lead to some dizzyness when it's changing... it's not like I cant walk, I just feel kinda woozy. could be the increased blood flow, or just being so danged tired!?

Re: dizzyness

  • I have been having them.  I am borderline hypoglycemic so I'm sure it's a blood sugar thing in my case.  It's hard right now to get enough food in to keep my blood sugar even and not make myself nauseas.  Eeew.

  • I had it this morning. I had to sit down while teaching because I was worried I was going to fall over.
  • I had pretty severe vertigo for the first time ever shortly after when I assume (from my chart) implantation occurred.  For a week afterwards I'd still get super dizzy....still getting dizzy spells here and there, but nothing terrible anymore.

    hang in there!!

  • Yes, mostly when I get up after sitting or laying down...it can be scary..I did pass out after my blood work last week...It was over and I was bandaged but somehow I still passed, scared more poor DH and had to be carried to a table to lay down till I came too...My Dr said it can be b/p (mine was low at the appt) or not enough sugar/electrolytes...so drink loads of water and don't forget to eat...passing out it no fun.

  • Yes... it was probably my first real symptom actually. At only 4 weeks 2 days I actually passed out in the bathroom at work. I found myself leaning against the stall door with a woman knocking asking if I was ok (I had went in there for privacy because I could feel I wasn't doing so well). I haven't passed out since then, and dizziness has gotten much better overall, but I do sometimes have to be careful not to stand up too fast.
