I don't know what it is about brushes, but my mind CAN NOT remember to pack them.
I think it also has to do with the fact that they are both something I use often so I can't pack them in advance. I should really invest in an extra set of both of them so I can avoid this problem and just pack them like a week ahead of time.
Trying to get sperminated since February 2010

Earplugs! I am a very light sleeper, so I need them or I will wake up constantly. I have to remember to put them back in my purse after using them on trips, so I'll have a back up if I forget to pack them in the future.

Oh my! I have never forgotten this. It's usually the first thing I pack. I do sometimes forget sleeping clothes though. It's not fun to sleep in uncomfortable clothes!

Bras. I never remember to bring bras. It has happened on at least a dozen trips. Sometimes I forget underwear too and I have to make an emergency run to buy some.
I don't know if you are camping, but the last two times we went we forgot pillows. It's hard enough to sleep in a tent w/o resting your head on a curled up sweatshirt!
Re: When you pack for a trip...
camera, toothbrush/paste, tampons, cell phone charger, bug spray/sunscreen, cash....
ETA: Haha sorry I misread and rambled off more than one thing...
Toothbrush or hairbrush.

What about a bathing suit if you plan on swimming?
