So glad you found your ring. Must feel pretty good to have that off your mind.
Now would ya get yer butt over here and find mine, please? Like on the double. LOL;)
Oh yeah, and I was meaning to ask... how's it going having DH home full-time now? Are you guys adjusting okay? I must admit, when DH goes OOT for work (like 2 times a year, for 4 days or so), I take it in. I love having the house spic and span, no one telling me what they want for dinner, and being able to do impromptu things like, "Even though we have food in the fridge, let's go out for dinner." LOL.
Re: *bright*
Your ring! Look high and low - mine was high! Good luck - I know what a panic I was in.
You're so sweet for thinking of my situation! DH is so happy now!! Him being grumpy was just the norm for the past 20 months.
Luckily for me, I guess, DH leaves at 1:30 p.m. and gets home around 10:30 p.m., and will never be home for dinner during work. So I just cook something every few days and he eats those leftovers after work. Bless his heart for not minding leftovers or just eating a sandwich for dinner! It's weird how much extra food we're going through. And half-empty cups and clothes dropped where they're taken off. And crumbs ... men are pigs!
But I still feel guilty going out and doing stuff in the morning when he's home, so we've been homebodies for the past two weeks (very weird for me!). So I still need to figure out a routine.
DD is relishing in having him home, but it's an adjustment for her too and she's been crying for me to do things for her instead of DH, which I know hurts him. She doesn't know what it's like to have a dad around so much!
We still haven't had another round of TTC talks ... I think we're both just trying to get into a routine of being together as a family again. Twenty months is a very long time to be apart.
Wow, this got long! But thanks for thinking of me!
No worries! So glad you're all adjusting:) It will take some time, but it's a good thing for sure!!
As for my ring, I hate to admit it, but I fear that our last nanny (who was fired after only 2 weeks) may have stolen it. My fault for leaving it where she could get it, but that's the only explanation for it not being in my secret hiding spot. Ugh.
Does homeowners ins replace them for such situations? I have an appraisal from a few years back. Hmm.
GL with the "new" life as a fam! I'm excited for you all, especially Dana!
