nortriptyline?

has anyone here taken this?

 I just saw a psychiatric nurse practitioner, really liked her way better than the psychiatrist i saw when i had PPA with DS#1.  I don't have symptoms yet but figured i would get in early to get my spot ready in case i need it.

she prescribed a really low dose of nortriptyline to help with sleep right after the baby is born.  i've never taken it before.

    I was on it for my IBS a few years ago.  It really didn't help me much.  Hope you have better luck.

    I just saw this post. . . I was on nortriptyline for about a week or so, years ago, for major depression.  The time that I was on it was awful, I was dizzy and did not have a coherent thought until I stopped the med.
