that won't fill out her census.  So now census workers are coming to her house and she is refusing to talk to them.  She says next time they come, she's going to call police!!

Well, she claimed that nowhere in the Constitution did it say that she had to.  Until someone pointed ou that it DOES!

My favorite argument is "the government already has the information in other places." Yeah, it's a GOOD idea to let the government dig through all your records to find out how old you are and where you live.

I don't normally talk this way about people, but I've always thought Adamswife aka DrFreud was an effing loon. Remember that crazy Under $1k blog lady? Well, Adamswife was apparently a fan and used to comment on the blog frequently. I clicked through to her blog (Adamwife's) occasionally and would just shake my head at some of the stuff she posted.

I just got a note on my door that someone was there yesterday - the thing is I was a "test" home back in early Feb so I got an 8-9pg form that I filled out & mailed back in, then I got a call in early March to say they never received it so would I mind doing the phone survey.  20mins later & it was done.  So now I was annoyed that they want this crap again.  I called my MIL who is working for the Census to ask "WTH? & she said they just need 3 basic things: name, DOB & race of everyone in the home. 

 Very funny - as I am typing this the girl who left the note just called me back (I called her to tell her I was refusing since they could not get my info the first 2 times - caller ID gets me a call back).  Took 3mins to answer.  She was sweet & apologized.  She said that she will be sure we are not bothered again.

My MIL said that if ppl refuse you are supposed to ask their neighbors if they can tell you how many live there & what race if they know along with general ages.  Odd & very unorganized if you ask me.

Oh, and DaiLyght has always had some weird issue with me. I can't actually remember what it is. Of if there's actually a reason or just that she doenst like me. But hey, if posting on a board in which I dont actually have a child of that age is snide-comment worthy, then I'd love to  hear it.
