anyone else's 2 month old not a long napper?

i think DS's record is like 2 hours and that was once. He usually only sleeps 20mins to an hour max. DD used to sleep 2-3 hours at this age. I am not sure if maybe i should try to swaddle him for a nap or two or what. I really wish he would nap a little longer so i could do some stuff with DD. any thing else help your DC nap longer? thanks

Lo usually naps for no longer than 30 minutes outside of her swing.  In her swing she could sleep for 45-60 minutes.

my LO cat naps too.  Oh well...

She'll be 2 months tomorrow and she is not a long napper at all.  She does sleep great at night so maybe that is why.  I've started putting her on her belly during the day and that seems to help.  I don't leave the room though since she is on her belly.  So its hard to get stuff done!  (She is swaddled at night on her back)

The longest my DS will nap during the day is about 45 min! And he still wakes up 2-3 times at night, he gets out of a swaddle so quickly so we stopped that a long time ago, plus he gets so hot when he's all wrapped up! So I definitely understand where you're coming from!

off the subject but what part of CT are you from?

my LO cat naps unless he sleeps in the swing or rocker so we go with that.  If I try to put him down in the bassinet of crib during the day I will get 45 mins - 1 hr max.  He does sleep in his bassinet at night.
