so i've never seen my super independent cat act so affectionate twords me... idk what got into her tongiht... maybe she can tell im not feeling good and need some serious TLC.  my back started killing me at work (it was a super busy day) and though i've been layin in bed for like the last 2-3 hours i feel no relief... i guess she is just trying to make me feel better.

My cat is usually super independant and only seeks out affection on her terms, but lately she wants to be held - not just petted - 24/7.  I think she knows she's not going to be the baby for much longer....  Hope your back feels better.

One reason I thought I was pregnant was that my little dog would not leave my side.  She usually lays on her bed, lately I am her bed!  It's amazing how they sence changes in us.

My kitties seem to be experiencing the same thing. My eldest cat will follow all around the house - and as soon as I sit down - she's wedging her way on to my lap....I am trying to return their attentions as I know I might not have as much time for them in the future.....I also think that the baby might like the sound of their purring....it's very soothing..
