a bit disappointed w/my 1st appt

So today I went (with my DH who took off from work!) to go to our first appointment. I called and asked if I will have an u/s and they said YES....so I got really excited. The whole exam went very well but NO u/s nor a urine sample (although I took 5 of my own...but still!) ....they have u/s once a week in a different office...blah...anyway ....so I'm a bit bummed and I really wish I got to see SOMETHING ...ughh....I have to wait 4 more weeks for my next appt.

Sorry you could see anything, I had the same thing at my first, I go back June 15, 2010 to see the HEARTBEAT!! but waiting is tough!!

I hate that, if you were told you were going to get an u/s, they should have done one!

Awww...I'm so sorry! That stinks that they told you the wrong info. At least its only a few more weeks though. And the appt went well!

I was disappointed with mine too.  I heard all these people talk about how it's the longest appt ever, and they ask lots of questions and peek up in your hoo-ha and whatnot.  I had none of that.  I peed in a cup, they told me I was pregnant (duh), they spun the little wheel and told me when I was due (duh), gave me a little packet of papers to read, asked what kinds of things I wanted to be tested for (HIV, CF, etc), and that was IT.  Like, seriously, it took them longer to put a peestick in my cup than I saw the doctor for.
