u/s today

I had my u/s today. By my calculations I should be 6w3d, but I was measuring 5w6d which isn't that far off. We were able to see the heartbeat, it was 100 bpm. I was a uneasy at the end because the tech said that was on the low end of normal and they may want me to come back in 10 days. From all the research I have seen a normal heart rate was between 90-110 for 6 weeks, so I would say we're good, no?

I am getting more excited though, it's just tough since just last month I had a m/c around 4.5 weeks.

Was she maybe talking about the CRL and not the heartbeat being on the low end of normal?  Sorry it was not a totally positive u/s.  Hope you are back on track in 10 days.

Nope, she said by the measurements it was 5w6d which I am fine with because it's only 4 days off from my calculations. I think that 100 would be perfectly normal for 5w6d, I was just annoyed she said low end of normal.

My LO had a HR of 124 at 7W 1D and I was told that's totally normal.  I think they look for 90-110 through six weeks and then 120+ after seven weeks.  We didn't even see a HB at our 5W 5D ultrasound so I'd say you're fine.  Congrats!

Whaddaya know, your measures were the exact same as mine yesterday .  HR for me was indicated as 110 bpm.

My u/s tech said that was normal.  I had kinda asked her again, and she mentioned as development progresses, the heart rate will pick up some steam.

I'd think you're fine.

yeah I mean if she said 90 or 80 I would have been worried.. I saw your post on the other thread, I may need to go back next week so I think it's normal for them to be careful even after 1 M/C

I guess so.  Maybe it's just his way (and no nickel/diming u/s), or my history with my old-a$$ eggs . 

It's kinda nice to have lots of u/s, but it'd be really nice to feel like I'm not on 'the watch list'
