what seasonings do you put on grilled turkey burgers

I never made these before...thought I give 'em a try.  What do you put on them and do you put it on before or after you grill them.

Re: what seasonings do you put on grilled turkey burgers

  • I use the onion soup mix sometimes and/or steak seasoning.  I like turkey burgers better than ground beef these days.
  • these are already preformed patties...I guess I can try some onion powder and or garlic powder.

  • Lawry's seasoned salt and some pepper. =)

  • DH made me one last night with cajun seasoning. It was a bit spicy for my liking, but it definitely made it less bland :)

  • The premade ones are awful, IMO.  I don't eat pork or beef, so turkey burgers are all I've had for years.  I usually put worcestershire sauce, crushed garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper in them before I form the patties.  I use ground turkey breast.  If I were using the preformed patties, I'd do salt, pepper, onion powder, and maybe some garlic powder too.
  • Just salt and pepper.
