I have a sling... thought I would use it a little bit here and there... but it is my wardrobe... no kidding - this kid won't let me put her down - so she is constantly in the sling...
I never thought I would be such a babywearer....

I didn't even know what attachment parenting was, but my DD was like that, so was in a sling most of the time when we were out. I can't tell you the number of parents who come up to me and go on and on about attachment parenting because of it. It is quiet funny really. I am just a parent who prefers not to listen to my children cry, at least not when it is not time to go to sleep. Some of them are down right offensive in their judging and just assume I agree because I have a ton of different carriers and make some of them myself.
I don't mind holding them though. They are just little for so long.
Both of my kids pretty much lived in the sling when they were infants- I absolutely loved my slings and Ergo. That being said, for some reason I just freaking hate the term "babywearing." It makes me cringe. *shudder*
Re: ahem.. . I am a babywearer
lol hey, if it works,

Yeah, my DD would not let me put her down for months, so she lived in the sling and then the bjorn.
But I am with Cleo, I hate the term 'babywearing', like your baby is some fashion accessory!
wait... Ellie isn't my accessory.... crap... then she is out of the sling....
it is just so funny how different two kids can be, I couldn't pay Ani to stay in the sling, now I can't pay the other to GET OUT.
