I have loved the name Teagan for a girl since we had my son in 06. We have decided on it for a girl name for our 3rd baby but are struggling with a boys name. So my question is:
According to baby name wizard Teagan is more popular as a girls name then boys name, but yes it is also used as a boys name. The only Teagan I know is a girl, so have a hard time picturing it on a boy.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I am not a fan of the Teagan/Keagan names at all. Although it seems they started as boy names, I have only heard them used for girls. I think it's a fairly feminine name to give a boy.

I always thought of it as a boys name and didn't realize lots of girls have it. (that's happening to tons of names lately, though). We're thinking of Teague for our boy...that's a little more masculine.
So weird, I was going to post this same question myself yesterday.
We are also considering the name for our little boy. I've heard it used for both boys and girls so I think it's absoulutley apropriate for a little boy. On most websites I've looked at, it means "poet."
And if you need further validation that it's a boys name, there's a player on the Chicago Blackhawks hockey team named Teigan Zahn. I think that's the spelling that we're going to go with.

A lot of people will say it's just a boy's name, but it's in the top running for our girl's name, I love it!
I think it sounds very feminine for a boy.
