I've had a really hard time finding someone too. My pediatrician recommended a dermatologist because DS has had an ongoing facial rash on his cheeks that seems to be irritated by acidic foods. He has had it since January. Aquaphor helps but doesn't completely take it away and if I don't put it on for one day it flares up like mad.
Anyway, we started calling for appointments in March and have one in August at Childrens Hospital in DC. I am not thrilled at all to go to DC for the appointment but it took so long just to find someone taking new patients I went with it. I hope you have better luck. I would ask your pediatrician for recommendations.
