the time has come: eighty-plus degree weather has reached Chicago.  for all the mommies: congrats! babies in bathing suits are some of the cutest things in life. to expecting mommies: i sympathize with you. last year i was swollen (face, fingers, feet and toes) the ENTIRE summer (and it wasn't even that hot last summer) until my little one finally popped out a week late in August. stay cool either indoors or... in a pool!

unfortunately for us, we do not have the luxury of a condo association that has a pool... or a condo for that matter so does anyone want to offer their private pool in order to hang with my most adorable, cuddly, happy baby and my most offensive stretch marks? he will flirt with you. i will get/make you drinks of carbonated nature or other. (alcohol, perhaps?) we will all become friends!

yes, i know this is so shameless. either way, i hope all you mamas are enjoying this wonderful weather we are having. DS loved sitting out on the patio at Crust people watching last night during dinner. hopefully it won't snow next week!
