When I went to pick up the kiddos today I started talking to a mom of Lila's class mate in the parking lot. She was SMOKING. She thanked me for the rec for the hair cut place. I mentioned what a help the TV and suckers are for getting the job done. She gave me a strange look and said. "We don't allow TV or sugar in our house.".. Kind of like I was some crazy parent for allowing either. As we were putting the kiddos in the car, she got in and lit up again and drove away. She smokes with her kid in the car, and I'm alwful because I allow TV and sugar. I guess we just all do the best we can.

Smoking makes you skinny...sugar makes you fat. Shame shame.
I have a friend that thinks everything *MUST* be organic for it to go in her dd's mouth....yet she smokes around her dd when they are outside, however, I've never seen her smoke in a car with her dd.
Maybe they think healthy food makes up for the toxins in the second hand smoke?
Wow...that's all I have to say :-).
Sick. I like a Nat Sherman NY Cut every once in a while, but I don't smoke it around my kid.
