the leapfrog tag thing? have it? reviews? good for a long car ride? we have some books on cd... movies... coloring books ... and we'll play some I spy games... but we have 22 hrs either way to drive... 4 days total in the car... thinking of the tag system for dd... since she's starting to put letters together and read short words.
we have the scribble and write, which ds is more interested in... thought maybe dd could use the tag while ds uses the scribble and write... I don't really want to get two tag systems sets.
Re: anyone actually have the tag system?
We have the pen. I would totally take it on a long car ride.
My oldest is almost 4 and he's all about it. Would play with it for hours.
The younger one is just under 2.5. He loves to sit with his older brother and listen to the whole story play non-stop and he likes to point the pen at the pictures and listen to them talk or make sounds but he doesn't understand how to make the pen do different things or how to run it over words to sound them out yet.
A big thumbs up for us!
And I recommend the plastic carrying case that holds the books and pen together.
And... I REALLY recommend the CARS book if you've got CARS fans. They will listen to and quote the "tractor tipping" scene over and over and over and over.....
