Can we talk about poop?

Bunny poops a billion times a day.

Ok. That's overstating it, but it feels true. It's definitely more than twice.

When does the pooping slow down?

LOL! for us, it slowed down right about 4 months.

our pedi asked us about her frequency at her 4mos well baby appt. she said it was common for EBF kiddos to slow down, and the very.next.day was the first time that DD went 24 hrs w/o pooping. DH says the pedi put a poop hex on DD

LOL - kiddo still poops twice a day - he's always been..um...prolific in the poop department ;-)

Things did slow down once we started solids though.  More importantly, they firmed up - sorry TMI!

hmm...finn poops about once every four days. and then, it's a FULL diaper (so glad we don't use disposables, it'd be everywhere!). i think he has some sort of deal going with DH, because DH hasn't been home for a poopy diaper since the first couple weeks!

I had the opposite problem! DD only pooped once every couple of days (I believe now it was because I had oversupply), but now that we've started solids she poops daily (to 3-4 times a day).

I did notice her poop change right around your DS's age though. She actually got more regular....which might mean less frequent for your LO

It didn't slow down for us until we started solids. She was a poopin' machine. She's still pretty regular- every morning at about 7am!

Between 4 and 5 months DS started only pooping once or twice a day.

DD still poops a lot -- usually two or three times a day. Until she was 7 or 8 months, she pooped all the time -- like 5 or 6 times a day. I think it was finally taking in enough solids that slowed her down!
