Hello and question

Hello!

I've been lurking in this forum for a while and figured I should say hello. So, Hello! First time pregnancy, 18wks and nervous as heck!?

I'm curious about birthing classes in the area. If you took a course in the Portland area, did you like it and would you recommend it? During which week in your pregnancy did you a class?

I am taking mine through my insurance company - Kaiser Permanente, we like them so far, it is a 5 week course (2 hours per week, once per week) and was $70 per couple.  We started them at 30 weeks.

I took Bradley classes and loved them.  I was able to have a drug-free intervention-free birth and I think they really helped.  The classes are 12 weeks long so I started around 25 weeks I think....
