OMG there is way too much cute baby stuff!  They were also having a 20% off sale on all furniture and gliders...in store only, through 5/27.  I am so tempted to get a deal, but I promised the hubby I wouldn't start buying stuff til after our first appointment on the 28th!  Doh!

BRU can be so everwhelming! My advice it to focus on one thing at a time.

As for deals at BRU they always have coupons (pretty much weekly).  You can sign up for them on their website and also fan them on FB.

I agree with you!  Babies R Us is way overwhelming right now!  It's so fun though to look at all the neat stuff though!  Took hubby a little while ago and he played with all the strollers and things!  lol  I know it's way early, but it's soo fun!

They have furniture sales like that quite often. If you can't get it now, I guarantee that you'll find the same sale down the road when you're ready to make purchases.

Also, I suggest signing up for their credit card. We always get $10 off coupons because we end up getting so much stuff there. We buy all our formula/baby stuff there (and in most cases, their prices are better than Walmart!) and we just pay the balance off every month.

they also have a great registry, they give you a little booklette to keep track of things and a list of must haves for baby's arrival but I agree they're constantly having sales so dont feel any rush.?

and do yourself a favor take a deep breath when you enter the bottles and pacifiers section and the home safety stuff, they have a billion trillion things in there!!! it' NUTS!! and everything has some kind of claim that your child may die if you dont buy this!!! LOL canbe rather overwhelming, especially with swarming hormones LOL

Do you have a friend who recently had a baby?  They're a great resource to take when you go to do your registry.   I took my BFF (her DS is 9 months older than DD) and it was really helpful, what you need and how much.

This exactly. I plan on taking the same lady who hosted my bridal shower (her DD is 2) and picking her brain as much as possible.

Babies/Toys R Us do deals all the time.  They revolve, trust me they will be doing that deal again, they have to hit all the new moms. 

 As for cute stuff, DON"T BUT CLOTHES! For the love of Pete trust me you will end up with so many clothes that your DC wont get to wear them all before they grow to the next size.  DD got bizzilions of outfits that I hope this kids a girl so they get worn!
