My full term miracle is here! (PsIP)
Well, I made it! After a very long, nervous pregnancy, we beat the 60-80% odds we were given of a re-occurance of pre-e. No one was more surprised than us and my OB that we made it to our scheduled c-section date at 38 weeks, 3 days.
The newborn experience this time around has been amazingly different than Campbell's birth. I hope that all of you who want to try pregnancy again get to have a similar experience! Thanks for all of your support during the past 9 months!
Here is Miss Maggie:
I actually got to see her and touch her right after she was born...unlike with Campbell where they whisked her off to the NICU to be resuscitated..
