Yes it happened to me with the twins and a little now. It is worse now, when it does happen, because I have one baby keeping me up late, the other getting me up early and this bun in the oven keeping me up in between! But luckily it doesn't happen often- probably because I pass out from shear exhaustion!
P.S. I became a SAHW at about 18 weeks with the twins, since I was done teaching and I always slept in until like 930ish because I figured I needed the rest and I was so glad I did! I so wish I still could do that! So don't feel guilty about sleeping in and naps!
yes!! Since 6wks on. I haven't slept all night since then. First it was the m/s and now it's being uncomfortable and sore hips/back lol..can't believe it's this bad already!! lol
I think my insomnia started the day after my + HPT! I wake up between 2:30 am to 5-5:30pm ish. Then I fall back to sleep, and have to get up at 6:30 for work. I finally started taking 2 benadryl every night and it works well. I wake up a couple of times but I can fall right back to sleep.

I totally had this. For the last two months and sometimes even before that I would wake up at 3 or 4 am and be starving and then wide awake and couldn't go back to sleep. I'd eat, watch TV, get on the computer and then sometimes go back to sleep on the couch....not fun. My girls would also be VERY active in the early am
Re: pregnancy insomnia
I'm way behind you, but this is already happening to me too. It lasts for a few days and then I can sleep ok for a few days.
Hope it doesn't last too long for you!

Yes, I typically wake up at 3.30a and don't fall back to sleep until 5.00a. Then I'm up for the day around 6.30a.
