M/S poll...

Seeing all of the responses on Sarah's post below made me wonder...

I have always heard that m/s=girl and no m/s=boy.  This rang true with me, but both my mother and sister have 2 girls and 1 boy, and neither one ever had a single day of m/s.  (I hope I am that lucky with future pregnancies!!)

But, a friend of mine has 1 boy/1 girl and was very sick with both, the whole time. 

So, just curious to see how it pans out here on the board...did you have m/s?  Does/did the OWT fit you?

I didn't really have any m/s, and I am having a boy. So I reckon it's true for me .

I was VERY sick with Avery and she's a girl.  Not sure about this one yet.  I'm sick, just not AS sick

Didn't prove true for me...I wasn't sick a single day and I had a girl.  But my mom wasn't sick with me or my brother at all either, and most of my pregnancy stuff seem to follow how hers was which is kinda cool...hope I am still lucky when pregnancy number 2 happens.

It was true for me.  I definitely had morning sickness, and I had a girl!

BUT, my roommate from college also had it so bad that she had to go on Zofran, and she just had a boy!

Well, I really appreciate all the responses to my question-I am 7 weeks tomorrow and I haven't had any m/s at all. I hope it stays that way.

I never knew that a lot of people don't get it. That gives me hope!

The OWT fit me and my SIL.  We both had no sickness and she had a boy and I'm expecting a boy.

I have had my mom tell me that she was sicker with my brother than she was with me.

Girl here and I did have M/S.. and I'm envious that so many of you didn't!

I never had true morning sickness...I vomited 3 times total(tmi) and those times were due to a weak gag reflex while brushing my teeth...I had a boy.

No m/s....not even nausea, and I had a girl.  I did however have hideous heartburn, so much so that I had to be on prescription Nexium, and massive migraines.  I was even hospitalized once for migraines...it sucked, lol!  Totally worth it though!

I had horrible morning sickness with both pregnancies and both are girls. 

One of my friends had little to none and she had a girl. 

Another good friend had terrible m/s with both pregnancies...first was a girl, this one is a boy. 

Another friend had terrible m/s with both and has 2 girls.

True for me!

However, my mom had 2 girls and opposite pregnancies....not sick at all w/ me, sick the entire time w/ my sister.

And a friend of mine had identical pregnancies-sick w/ both, but has a girl and a boy.

So not true.  I am having a boy & my m/s has lasted my entire pregnancy so far.  I am on Zofran & am afraid I will be on it until the day I deliver.
