Gave myself a time out-

The more i tried to get done today- the more of a disaster it turned out to be. With all the preparations that still need to be done for Gisele's bday party this weekend i have a ton on my plate.

usually Gisele is very easy going when i have to get things done- but she is having non of it today.

Trying to roll with it but i am realizing that it just isn't going to get done RIGHT NOW. So we sat on the couch together and shared a snack and read some books. She kept putting her head on me and saying, 'awwww mommy'

Guess we both just needed a break.

I am going to throw the 'to do' list out the window until after nap and see how she is- worse comes to worse DH is just going to have to pitch in ALOT after work. C'est la vie.

That is how it is some days.

Good for you.  Way better to take a time out and enjoy each other than just keep butting your head against the wall.
