Belly Bands--- recommendations?

hi ladies,

so I have almost completed my 17th week and still am in that awkward stage of not really showing yet and just looking more fat. My pants are getting tighter and hubby and I are on a budget...trying to avoid buying maternity clothes for as long as I can. I thought I'd invest in a belly band-- bought "Be Band" at target.... ehhh its ok. Anyone have any other recommendations as to how to stretch those pants so I can wear them for awhile yet?

 Thanks!

Re: Belly Bands--- recommendations?

  • Umm...can I admit I used a rubber band to hold my jeans up? One end looped around the button and the other end through the button hole. Its a trick my mom said she used while preggo. Wear a long short to cover it up. LOL
  • Luckiest! I coudn't find rubber bands!!!

I got the bella bands at Nordstrom for a lot less than the website:

    https://www.ingridandisabel.com/

I loved them and they worked through the entire pregnancy.

  • The Bella Band looks like the BeBand I bought from Target. I wonder if it is any better than what I already have? I'll have to go to nordies and check it out. The problem I'm having is I have no-ass (trust me its really not that fun to have a flat butt, if I could re-arrange some of my fat, I definitely would reallocate it to my ass) so my pants fall off with the BeBand,  its not enough to hold them up. I might just have to try the rubber band trick...
