How do you guys organize your LO's clothes? DH and I have a dresser with 5 drawers that we're planning on using, plus the closet. I know that they're usually done by sizes but he mentioned to just put out 0-12months stuff right now and keep the other stuff boxed up until he's big enough for it. Do you keep all your LO's clothes out or do you store items that he's not wearing or aren't in season. Also, did you combine sizes in drawers like 0-3, 3-6, 6-9 all divided into the correct sizes. I know I'm really overthinking this, but when there's poop everywhere and it's 2:00am, Im not going to want to look for something that will fit him correctly I just want to be able to put my hands on it and go.
Re: How to organize baby clothes
I keep the majority of her clothes in her closet. They are on hangers in order by size. When I wash and hang up, I make sure to put things back in their "spot."
She only has three drawers, and I put onesies with pants in one of them. They are in stacks by sizes. I also have a drawer for burp clothes and bibs, and another drawer for socks, tights, bloomers, etc. Now that she is older, we just have one drawer for shirts/onesies (usually play clothes that I don't hang), still in stacks by size. In the next drawer I have pants/shorts/and pajamas in stacks by size. In the third drawer I still have socks, bloomers, tights, and moved bibs down there with those.
She also has a side cabinet and I store lotions, medicines, thermometer, etc. on the bottom shelf and her shoes on the top shelf. It helps to take the time to be organized!!!
I never used our dresser. I bought a closet organizer with cubes in the middle. it had 3 rods. on one side - I kept the clothes that fit her currently. the rod above that had the next size up clothes. The other side had a rod that held bigger clothes.
I had 4 closet cube things. they held - hats and bloomers, towels & wash cloths, blankets and sheets.
We had a changing table w/ 3 drawers in it.
they held Onesies and burp cloths (it was next to the rocker), PJ's and then the bottom had extra mattress pads, changing table covers, etc.
It really worked for us
K has a changing table with three drawers. That's where we keep her diapers, socks and pajamas and play clothes. (shirts, t-shirts, capris, shorts, pants, etc.)
We hang up all of her clothes that she hasn't grown into yet, as well as her nicer clothes that aren't necessarily "play" clothes. The top rack in the closet is all of her "in-season" clothes that fits her currently. The bottom rack is all of her clothes that are still too big.
As she outgrows clothes I take them out and put them into a rubbermaid container for storage.
Also, I got a hanging sweater organizer on amazon.com that we use to put her shoes in. I'm so glad I got it... it's easy to put up to 6 pairs of her little shoes on each shelf and easy to see her shoes. The only bad part now is that K likes to open up her closet and take her shoes off her shoe rack!

everything that currently fits him is in his dresser. I have a drawer for shirts/onesies/;shorts/pants; one-piece/nicer outfits like smocked things or overalls; pajamas; miscellaneous. when he starts to outgrow a size, I go through all drawers and put everything in storage bins.
his socks are in a mini-storage container that sits on top of the dresser. it doesn't matter though, because I ALWAYS lose them!
