Overdue

Im 41 weeks and 3 days. I am now 10 days overdue.

How many of you went overdue with your kiddos? What did you do to get them out (aside from inductions)? I'm about to try castor oil...

I really just want my little baby girl already!!

as much as it sucks to hear... baby WILL come out whenever he/she is ready! Trust me I know how it feels, I went 9 days overdue, was induced and regret doing so.

I wouldn't recommend AGAINST castor oil, you might end up in labor and have the runs the entire time

I don't have any advice, I know some girls on her went over but I think they might've been induced. Hopefully she arrives SOON! Do you know if you'd have to go to the hospital to be induced if she doesn't come before 42 weeks? (that's usually what regular doctors do because of the baby). Also, is she in position for sure?

Sorry you're over due!! I know it sucks waiting impatiently for the babies arrival.  I went 41 weeks 1 day.  I think the baby comes out when he/she is good and ready.  Although when I went for my 41 week check up my mid-wife "massaged" my cervix and 24 hours later Isabella was born.  I'm not sure if the massage had anything to do w/it, or she was going to come anyways. 

My mid-wife  did suggest to take rasberry tea, I was doing squats & walking like a mad woman.  Hope baby comes soon!!!

I have no advice, except maybe go walking?  I've heard that exercise among other things can bring on labor.  I can only imagine how uncomfortable and anxious you must be - hope she decides to come out soon!

I just thought of something, maybe squatting? (obviously it's not the easiest thing to do right now, but might help!)

I went 7 days past my due date with Quinn and then was induced. Sending you good thoughts that your little girl decides to come soon!

Clari, she is in position. She's at -1 or 0 station. I forget which one they said last time. Haha. But she's LOW cause it hurts.

oh well that's great! If it hurts (obviously the feeling sucks) but that's a good sign! Hopefully tonight will be the night!!!

Have sex! The semen causes the uterus to contract! It worked for me!

DH and I had sex, then I started having contractions, we went to the cheesecake factory to eat and my contractions became stronger so we brought the dessert home (I actually ate my cheesecake on our way to the hospital! LOL.) Then we went to the hospital and voila!

Are you against induction?  Just curious.

I don't have any advice since I had alexis at 38 weeks - had to be induced b/c of high blood pressure.

Good luck!!!  Crossing my fingers for you that she decides to make an appearance soon!!!!

I went 7 days past and had to be induced because on the 6th day started very strong contractions, but no dropping or dilating so after a good 30 hrs of labor pains they decided to induce, I always said I wouldn't let them induce me but when the day came I just embraced it, and trust me I did everything in the book, walking, sex , raspberry tea.....  But try those, everyone else I know who has tried these say it really works....  Also have hubby massage your feet particularly the heels and crawling.... Gosh I just keep remebering everything I tried!
