In fact, it didn't happen at all.
My amazing sleeper who sleeps 12 hours with one feeding was up ALL night. We (me and DH) got about 2.5 hours of sleep. I felt so bad leaving him and DH to go to the Ellen show today, but I knew they'd be fine.
Luckily DS napped a lot so DH was able to nap with him. However, he refused his bottles! He finally got one down but refused the second one totally. He would take it in his mouth and then just spit it out and cry. He nursed for EVER when I got home.
I don't get it- he's had bottles before. Maybe he doesn't get them often enough?
Re: Well, their father/son outing did not go well....
When my DD was little she was awful with bottles, would actually go all day without eating before taking one from DH or my mom or anyone other than her DC provider who had her 4 days a week. She never refused at daycare but never consistently took a bottle for anyone else. No real advice... just keep trying and hopefully he'll take to them!

DD will only take enough from a bottle to take the 'edge' off. I worked full time for a few weeks and she would only take like five to six ounces over ten hours. Then she would eat and eat and eat when I got home. Even now she'll go six hours and only take an ounce. At least it's nice to know I'm needed :>.
I'm seriously not looking forward to weaning.
