Wake time for 5-6 monther

How long is your 5-6 month old awake between naps? 

DS is only awake max 1.5 hrs after waking in the AM, but I'm finding for much of the rest of the day he is going 2 hrs.  It didn't used to be like this - closer to 1.5 hrs in between - so I'm just wondering if others are awake this long?

I find that, if I try to put her down for a nap every 1.5 hours, the day just goes a lot smoother. If I wait until we hit the 2 hr mark, she gets overtired and becomes a big bear about going to sleep. At that point, I usually have to swaddle her, give her the binky, rock her, and shush in her ear while she screams, until she winds down enough to sleep. Not fun. I really try to avoid this.

Tegan goes down between 1.5-2 hours and sleeps anywhere from 45 minutes to 2.5 hours. Her last nap normally ends around 4 and she goes down at 7 for the night, so those 3 hours are the longest she's awake during the day.

We're not at 5 months yet, but DD is generally down for her morning nap 1.5 hours after waking, then 2 hours after that and then around 3 hours before bedtime.
