I started reading it in summer 2008 and I cried & cried the first day, I read the whole thing.... and then I was hooked & used to read it all the time. Since my twins were born l stopped reading the blogs I used to keep up with and I went back to his recently just to see what the scoop was- it was amazing to see how big Madeline is and also was semi-surprised (not sure why) to hear that he is dating someone somewhat seriously, it seems like he is very happy which is great. Just wondering if anyone else reads it....
Re: Anyone follow Matt Logelin's blog?
Sort of... he doesn't post much anymore- he's writing a book. It's pissing off a lot of his followers because they feel like he wants their money after they have supported him for so long.
I'm glad he's found a girlfriend. He def deserves to find some happiness again.

Are you kidding me? I don't follow his blog but sort of know the general story - geez louise! That is NUTS to begrudge him the right to write a book about his experiences. Internet people are weirdos (not US of course I mean OTHER internet people HELLO!)

Geez, seriously, people are mad about that?? How could anyone keep up blogging at the pace he did, plus work and take care of a toddler and have a life? Don't buy his book then, JMO, and if someone sent him/Madeline gifts then that should've been out of the goodness of their heart at the time... I dunno, maybe I just didn't get so invested as others or something.
I adore that whole family.
I read an article, that I can't find now, about how the trend is shifting away from blogging every detail of your life, and a lot of very public bloggers (he was mentioned) are taking things down a notch. Bloggers are finding it difficult to face such public scrutiny and starting to live life in the mindset "I wonder what people who read my blog will say" and realize that is a weird way to live life.
I completely understand where they are coming from.
I thought the same thing! She's so big now!! I hadn't read it since I got pregnant b/c it made me sad but about 2 weeks ago I wanted to check up. I guess he's writing a book now too. I am glad that things are turning around for him.
Totally. I am sure that in the beginning all the gifts and the 'fame' online (I think he won a blogger award too...) was great but then you realize you're like an online reality show w/ all the judgment & other crap that comes along with it. Not to mention for the woman he's dating now & of course for his daughter even though she doesn't know it yet.
I think his foundation is a great idea & I"m glad they're all doing well.
