Pillow case as a bassinet sheet?

Someone suggested this to me the other day when I mentioned that I still have to buy bassinet sheets. She said all you do is slip the mattress in the pillowcase as if it were a pillow. Anyone done this?

We have used changing pad covers for a cradle sheet, so I do not see that to be a problem!

The only problem I could see is that the bassinett matress is so thin that the pillow case would probably be really loose and wrinkley. But its worth a try.

Yep!  That's what we used for our bassinet sheet last time.  THe sheets that come with or you can buy always slipped off.  Just tuck the excess under the mattress.  Worked great!
