Thoughts on the name Caia?

It's Latin and it means "rejoice." It's pronounced similar to the more common names Kaia or Kaya.

I think it's pretty but it may be one of the few names that's better spelled with a K. I like Kaia, but Caia could work.

I like it spelled this way, but generally I like Cs over Ks. I don't see it come up as a name when I search in on my usual sites, so maybe K is the original spelling.

I like it because it is different, and you can nearly guarentee that no other girls in school will have the same name.

On another note though...with a C it may be pronounced wrong by all of her teachers!

Truthfully... a friend recently named her baby this but spelled Kaya, which seems easier for people to pronounce since it's like Maya but with a K.

It seems to be a pretty popular dog name a well.... my SIL owns a mini doxie named Kaiah

I really like the name Kaya, (it's one of my best friends names) that spelling makes more sence then the others.

for those of you who don't know how to pronouce it, it sounds like Maya

I know a little boy named Kaya. I always thought it sounded kinda girly. I'm not sure what gender it's supposed to be for actually. But I do prefer it with a K over the C.

I love it!!! It was one of my top girl name choices (and then we found out we're having a boy...). I would've gone with the Kaya spelling most likely.
