please help me write a letter of recommendation for daycare

Anybody write a letter of recommendation for a daycare they were leaving?  Any thoughts on what I should put in it?

Any help would be great.

Think of it this way: What would you want to know if you were trying to decide whether or not to use that DC? Is there anything special that you really like about the way they care for your child? What sets this DC apart (do they make time to talk to parents, are they responsive to your needs, are they good at figuring out LO's needs, does LO come home happy every day)?

If all they did was make sure your DD was clean and fed every day, then say that. But if they went beyond, be sure to include that. I picked my DCP based a lot on the 1/2 inch thick stack of GLOWING letters of rec I got on her...so from the other side, the more detail you can include in your letter, the better!
