Owning my own yarn store......I'm still thinking of doing this. My problem is really the hours. I'd have to be open afternoons, and one weekend day, so it's not an option for me right now.

When I was younger I always wanted to be a disney animator but now that I have a kid I would just love to travel. I would love to take DD places I have never been. I want to show her the world! We'd take road trips, go on cruises, see other countries...

I'd probably design homes. I love all the nuances, trends and details. I live on realtor.com and adore unique styles. I always try to give my parents advice since they actually have the money to finish their basement or do a fancy veranda etc. I'm so excited that some of my house pet peeves, like the cookie cutter boxes and stairs in the entryway are starting to fade from popularity...who even notices these things?! In real life, I'm going to get my real estate certification so I can at least share my love of homes with families! Sometimes you can find ways to realisitically make your dream come true and I'm very optimistic about the future
I always wanted to be a kindergarten teacher. If I had it to do over again, that's what I'd do. I know it's not too late, but I have absolutely zero interest in going back to school at this point in my life.
I would be a travel writer, but not the kind that has to grind out a guidebook every 6 months. I'd go on adventures with my family then write about it. Kind of like "No Reservations" with Antony Bourdain, only for families.

I would love to be a history teacher. People always say I'm crazy because they hate history or hated it in school, but I love it! I could soak up the facts and dates and stories all day! And I LOVE sharing what I've recently read or learned with other people.
For me, I'd if money and the economy weren't an issue, I'd definitely open up my own childrens boutique. A small place with an area in the back but open to the rest of the store where Jackson and Bean-to-be could be while I was at work. The 'resting' area would have a couch, tv, fridge, and toys, with a half wall and half door where the boys could be while I was working. Even other customers kids could go in there while they were shopping so the kids would be 'contained' and parents could shop. I'd even stock juice boxes and small snacks for visitors.
The shop would have moderately priced and upscale clothing, accessories, and furnishings, some of the furnishings which would be custom made by yours truly. Can you tell I've thought about this a little bit???
I'd love to own a little bookshop in a quiet little town somewhere. We'd specialize in used books, but we'd sell coffee and pastries and have rooms upstairs set up with comfy furniture and such to encourage people to stay and read. It would be the sort of place where there's a cat always lounging nearby, and there would be a little playroom in the back for Miles.

I would love to travel and shop for a living... HA!
BUT once we are done having babies and once they are over 3, I plan to go back to school to become a midwife...not sure if I am going to do CPM or CNM...in the meantime I will stick to being a doula and I have thought of doing childbirth education...
I would be a volunteer and philanthropist. I'd want to travel around the country and world donating my time, services & money to the needy. I so wished I had the resources to drop everything and go comfort & care for surviving orphans in Haiti after the earthquake.
I would love to own a comic book store. We would sell trading cards, comics books and japanese items (Like JSTOR).
My employees would be allow to cosplay/ wear costumes as uniforms. The front would be a sitting area and people would be able to buy Bubble Tea and hang out. We would have back rooms for card games, table top games and movie nights.
I would also like the upstairs to be an art studio. Artists would be allow to rent out space and I would have my own studio there.

Maybe someday, just not now.
