In Home DCPs?

I posted on 6-12 and it was suggested that I check with you ladies as well. I have been considering starting an in home day care for about 6 years. We purchased a home in October and we are finally at a point where I think I am ready to take the leap. I am meeting with the woman who was DD's dcp for 3 years this week to ask some questions and get a starting point but thought I would ask you ladies for advice as well.

I am just now really starting to look into state licensing requirements. I have a couple of samples of contracts and parent handbooks from in home day cares in our area. Can you help me come up with a list of questions I should ask to get started? What have your biggest challenges been? Biggest rewards?
