If their B-days are in the spring or summer - bubble making machines - the more bubbles made the better.

We just did 6 b-days in a 4 week period and every one of the kids (boys and girls) loved it. 

Just remember to add the batteries and a big bottle of bubbles.

The ILs got TB the Thomas ride-on for his 1st bday and as much as I hate it (it's constantly in the way), they both love it.

ML got a toy kitchen for her 1st bday, and although it took her a few months to get into it, she and TB both play with it almost everyday.

We got Liam a Fisher Price Bounce and Spin Zebra for his 1st birthday and he loved it! He's 4.5 now and he still get on it DS #2 plays with it all the time too.
