NT scan tomorrow

I'm getting my NT scan tomorrow.  I'm not looking at it as an NT scan but rather as a chance for me to see my baby.  How exciting! :o)  I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight and I'm sure work tomorrow will go SLOWLY

What do you mean by this?  I have a right to get an NT scan for whatever reason I want.  I pay for insurance so I should get to use it however I want. No one else is paying for me so really, why do you care?

And for the record, I freak out easily. So if I've found a way to  POSITIVELY look at the way a test is done than whats the problem?

  • Good luck to you!!!
  • I had mine this morning and wasn't able to sleep last night (which means I'm now at work - exhausted)!

It was very cool (and comforting) to see the little one again.  We had a standard ultrasound at 10 weeks and it is absolutely amazing how much the baby has grown in two weeks!

We had a great tech who walked us through everything (it helped that she was training a resident).  We saw the brain, kidneys, spine, heart (and the heart's bloodflow - very cool) and due to the training, we got to spend a couple more minutes with little one.

Luckily, the news was great - we had our bloodwork done in advance so we were able to get answers today.

And we have lots of very fun pictures as apparently our little one is quite the entertainer.  There was even some clapping!
